As if the past two days at SXSW weren’t enough – bring on the tunes!
Made it back to Dallas in under 3 hours – just enough time to hit Brofest from Parade of Flesh at Dada.
Solid lineup from a handful of bands I hoped to catch at SXSW, but missed.
First act is The Growlers from Long Beach California. Definitely some surf rock undertones. Digging the sound, crowd looks tired but toes are tapping and heads nodding.
Going to assume their name has nothing to do with the beer carrying vessel – but it’d be awesome if it did.
Would see again.
