The Double Wide Bar

What isn’t to like about The Double Wide Bar?  Competing with Adairs for Deep Ellum’s most redneck bar (and I mean that in the best way), The Double Wide has a lot to offer for music loving, beer swilling, and fun loving Dallasites.

Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, the Double Wide is half bar and half music venue.  One building houses a small stage, with room for about 100-200 people.  The acoustics are OK for the room, and it’s easy to get a good viewing angle on the bands.

The other building is straight bar, complete with deer heads mounted to the wall, and retro furniture.  It’s a lot like what I picture a Texas man cave from the 70′s might look like.

With one of Dallas’ best booking agents, Chelsea Callahan at the helm, the Double Wide Bar features some of Dallas and Austin’s best local talent.

Covers are normally around $5, parking can be tough, but the drinks are always cheap!
