TRAMMELL
When I moved from St. Louis a little over a year ago, I had no idea the greatness hiding in the Dallas/Fort Worth local music scene. Week in and week out, I get to enjoy the best folk, bluegrass, esoteric-electro, indie (and yes, even a little metal sometimes. I said a little..) you can find anywhere in the US of A.. Writers in other cities should be jealous.
Barb Holliday
Barb is a writer specializing in the Dallas/Fort Worth punk/ rock music scene. For the past 20 years, She’s lived in and around Dallas, Texas following local artists and observing the changes in our scene. Most of her work is fact-based informational writing. She is not a music critic. She’s a fan and writes to spread the word about good music, art and people. She enjoys intimate conversations with like minded artists and hopes to express that in the work that she produces. She adds a local twist on pieces about touring acts and speads the word through social media about previews and upcoming shows. She’s had interviewed Les Claypool, Ruyter Suys, Greg Attonito, David Lovering and Jake Kolatis over the past year for examiner.com as well as several great local artists. She can be reached by email or tweet.

Sissyphis
Like Sisyphus was forever doomed to push a boulder up a mountain, I’m forever doomed to be an outsider looking in to the world of indie music. From my roots as a showtune-singin’, country-music lovin’, pop-music dancin’ kid, I take a totally weird take on today’s shows, culture, fashion & scene.
